Equally at home as a record producer, sessions bass player and DJ, Mumbai-based Nathan Thomas, aka NATE08, has become a prominent voice in India’s independent music scene. Blending R&B, funk and deep house, his productions balance soulful songwriting with groove-driven, club-ready sensibilities.

Following his debut album Furaha on London-based label Needwant in 2022, which has garnered over 15 million streams across platforms and featured a collaboration with Jitwam, NATE08 returned with his sophomore LP Twenty Seven in 2025. Featuring collaborations with Mary Ann Alexander, Dishaan, Mallika, Dappest, Sahirah and Benni Ola, the album further showcases his versatility as a producer and songwriter.

With over 500,000 monthly Spotify listeners, support from international tastemakers and a remix of Waiting by Amsterdam duo Dam Swindle, NATE08 continues to build a global audience, with performances at Lollapalooza India 2026 and Boiler Room further cementing his growing international presence.
